Rai A. Wilson, Esq. is a former Youth and Advocacy Law Attorney with a broad range of experience in fields related to Advocacy, Equity, Justice, and much more! They felt that their experience with practicing law was too limiting and created R.A.W. Consulting for the sole purpose of ensuring and assisting others with access to resources and information to meet their needs. Their goal is to match individuals with services and resources, as well as provide educational and growth opportunities for businesses and organizations, no matter the size. Rai is friendly, confident, well-versed, and has years of experience with leading Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice, and Belonging trainings and their courtroom experience has made them quick-witted and easy to adapt.

Rai studied at Manhattanville University, Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, and passed the Universal Bar Exam (Ohio primary) in 2021. They practiced as a Guardian ad litem, representing children’s best interest in Abuse and Neglect cases. They also served as a Public Defender in Youth and Family court, representing children charged with misdemeanors and felonies, as well as adults charged with non-payment of child support. They have both bench and jury trial experience, and a wide range of other legal services and abilities.

They have created, organized, and facilitated Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice, and Belonging trainings and workshops on a volunteer and paid basis for three years. Access to resources and educating on self-advocacy are their truest passions.
